Wow, thanks all who have commented! I haven't looked back for a while as was a little anxious to how it would be received. Really pleased you all like the lay out and we were lucky enough to get some excellent photos to use. A good team effort pulled it all together and i'm excited about the next on...

Dale Ponsford Screwdriver tails...

Hi all, I'm really interested in Dale Ponsfords screwdriver tails to the point of wanting a crack at building one but i'm finding it very difficult to find any info or pics other than the odd one on this site (sure there was a close up shot of 2 of his boards fairly recently, think Waka took them? C...

Gonna be good to have another kneelo around to keep me company! RMcKnee, I must have crossed your path at some point. Was probably riding a sponge at the time though  misled youth! I've grown up surfing Challaborough which is still my main haunt along with a few other spots nearby. Don't think...

Try Surfblanks, their 6'2'' fish blank is 25" wide but depends how much rocker you want to get out of it. The ones shown on the US site have about 1/4" less nose and tail than the oz ones. http://surfblanksamerica.com/surfboard_blanks_b_fe62.php http://www.surfblanksaustralia.com/index.php...

knee_boarder, good looking board and i'm sure it will go as good as it looks 8) He knows how to make them work! Fins are usually Bro's own templates, either hand foiled or he has a very good set available made to his template by Rainbow for lokbox. They work very well indeed! RMcKnee, the bantham ar...

it'll be gone in 10-15 years I very much doubt it! The lines are so different and I don't believe there aren't any younger guys out there that which wouldn't have their minds blown by a Simpson top turn or farrer barrel enough to take more than a passing interest! I did!!   I ...

Haha, the old hide the browser trick! I'm down in Plymouth myself and there are pockets of kneelos all over the SW from Sennen to Bristol. I think we're still hoping to have a beach BBQ over the summer at some point and people usually post up on the UK forum if there's going to be a gathering of som...

Where abouts are you, in the UK I assume from the other thread (check the reply!)? A floaty 5'8" should do you nicely for general surfing, there's heaps of threads about board length on this site, do a search in the design forums. Modern boards are probably quite a different beast to what you u...

Australian Kneeboard Surfing Journal

Does anyone out there have any new copies of the Australian Kneeboard Surfing Journal left that they would be willing to sell or a contact of where I could get some copies from? If I remember rightly wasn't it Ken Stapleton that put it together? Been meaning to hunt it down for a while!

Cheers
