Just an amateur(spell check), but dont you need feet and seconds to determine your swell size along with the appropiate buoys that pull your swell in??? For an example, (from southern california) it doesnt do any good to have 20-25' @ 18 seconds if that particular buoy is in a wave shadowing locatio...
