Yeah I remember that, a cool little '' full volume '' board that had the planform/ outline sort of like a Greenough Spoon. A 1977 ad for ''Pub Squash'' I think.

Rod, I concur with how powerful Da Fins are ( especially considering how light they feel). I did have some problems with them when I was paddling and kicking on takeoff, that the fins felt they were just kind of splashing on the surface due to their width and lightness, wondering if you had ever not...

How are the front zip suits for paddle mobility, they always looked to me like it would be weird and bulky to have that zipper right across the upper chest. Good referrals on the prices guys, I only had time to go to H.B. surf and sport in Seal Beach last weekend and they were running around mid two...

Wetsuit recommendations

Finally back living on the mainland after seventeen years in Hawaii and need some wetsuit advise. Having gotten used to pretty warm water and air temps (and being a bit older too) everything is cold to me. Surfed the Cove friday and ''apartments'' on the north side sunday ( fun waves BTW ) in an old...

Scott, I was looking at your Shock Doctor 868 Knee Wraps, and I think we talked about it last year when you were here, when you wear that under a wetsuit, doesn't it kind of bind and fight your ability to flex your knee ?

What a Blessing to have a close cadre of surf buddies that came to your aid. The hike back up the cliff or even the road would be a bear if your'e hurt, glad you had help. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Maui K-Board

Hey Matt, I've got a Blast rounded pin quad your welcome to borrow for the duration of your stay. It's 5'-10''x 23 1/2, fairly good volume, I'm about 170 lbs. now , but when I was over 200 it still floated me pretty good. Robert

Well said Casey ! It's a great product. BTW, does the thinner version have enough material thickness to do the JT Diamondback, or is that best only on the 8mm pad ?
Thanks, Robert

I have one of Casey's thinner pads on a smaller kneeboard and love it. Been thinking of ordering some of the thicker ones ( maybe the JT Diamondback pattern ) for some boards that need it; would like to better protect my aging knees as well as some lightly glassed decks. For those who have used both...
