I cracked my ribs in my late 40's kneeriding the 'shoe. I wiped out on a really hollow left. My body got directly over my board and the board submerged into the water and came back up hitting me right on my side! Take 2-3 advil or 2 Aleve, and try not to laugh at any good jokes!

So sorry to hear about this loss. I believe it was a couple of months ago, that I heard something that he was in the hospital! Hoping that he'll turn for the better. In '00 or '01 Terry had a super-raised Baja Beetle that he used to drive really fast offroading down in Baja on several surf trips. RIP.

I've seen this break look like a mini Pipeline many times.
The kneeboarders would outnumber footboarders 2:1!

AB, It was the swell of '75, the New Zealand "Monster from down under."
I have that poster. I was told that the board going over the top of the
wave was a bellyboard. Nevertheless, it's still one huge wave! I still stare
at it almost every day.
