Yes, I heard that the surfer bowl, that's put on by the OB Geriatrics Club was supposed to be Feb. 3 and 4. They are having it a year from this weekend. There is a small fee, I can't remember how much, but it's not alot. It'll give everyone a chance to get plenty of practice.

I think that we all kneeboard besides it being fun, we like to be different from the masses that stand-up surf.

The favorite place to be on a wave, would have to be as far back as you can get in the tube!

I'm definitely going to go check out his photography. He was one of the limited photographers who could shoot the kneeboarders at Big Rock. He was also ahead of his time, by using the camera board to get the perspective of the rider in the tube.

Wetsand.com has a link set up with the SC Sentinel telling about the fact that Lloyd Mahoney has not kneeboarded for 20 years, or has never even entered a contest before, yet he's doing great! :D
