Outside
Yeah that’s me in the video. Got a call a few days ago from Uncle Nippah about some footage on youtube. There were a lot of good waves that day. I surfed Sunset Cliffs with Bob Welch and we both got some bombs. I rode my yellow 6’3” Blast gun (thanks Bud) and it was on fire; got some of the biggest,...

Riddle me this Batman...
For my edification, exactly how does the seeding process work? Is there a reference that explains the process.
Will the seeding be done as Nick Carroll explains on Surfline for WCT contest seeding:
Top and bottom halves are split thus:
Top: 1, 4, 5, 8, 9, etc
Bottom: 2, 3, 6, 7, etc
Thanks.

Bum Knee
So I've been out of the water for nine weeks yesterday with a severe knee sprain. Happened while surfing DMJs, was turning to avoid a close out, the wave broke next to me and pushed my torso the opposite direction I was turning. Felt a pop in my left knee and I was immediately in pain. Just got an M...

Jeff. Truely gnarly. Glad you made it. Any damage to you or your board? How was the surf?

Back from Iraq
Just got back from Iraq yesterday. It's so great to be back home with my wife and son. It was a really really long year. Jet lag is still kicking my ass... I can't stay up past about 8 pm and then I'm wide awake at 3 am. Gotta love it. I can't wait to get some surf. I hope everyone is doing well. Se...

Got a few today...
I surfed today for the first time in ten months and it was great. The waves could have been bigger and the wind could have been better but after being in Iraq for ten months it was awesome. I cannot describe the feeling of riding a wave after not doing it for so long... the stoke is still very much ...

Double Fist
That's why I double fist when I can. Keeps both arms working and maximizes the time drinking, I mean working out.
