How do you feel about Kneelo Clubs

What works & what doesn't and in what type of conditions. Got a "secret" only you and your shaper know???? Post it here... we can keep it quiet ;-)

How do you feel about Kneelo Clubs

Post by Steve Neal »

Myself and Chris Burmudes have been talking about starting up a Ventura Co. Kneelo Club .

My thought is that it will bring more of us together in one spot about once a month at different locations in the County .

And hopefully bring more exposure to our sport at a local level anyway.

What are your thoughts on this .

If we did this everywhere would it help give our sport exposure.

good call steve

our clubs here create great comoraderie, but they are hard work and require dedicated guys to keep them going.

Clubs (plus Rob Slater) are what brought Chayne & Troy Simpson to kneeboarding

Steeno's thats exactly what we would hope for.

Put enough kneelo talent in the water to draw the intrest of the younger kids.

Although it only took two kneelo's for me to convert from a standup.

There seems to be alot of young kids right now just starting up so maybe this would be a good time to get something like this going.

sounds like a good idea Steve.. are you going up to Big Sur? maybe with a good turnout and the predicted swell we will be able to convert the local kids up there to give kneeriding a try. also would you mind if I migrated north when you get your club meetings going???? It is always nice to paddle out with some fellow kneelos and share the Stoke!!!!!!

Hey Barry I have alittle to much going on at work right now so Big Sur is
not going to be possible for me.

I got your pm sorry for not responding I was waiting to talk with Hosey to see if he could accomodate you if you were to stop by on your way up.

Unfortunately, looks like Hosey went to Puenta Abbreahos(I think thats right ?)for a while.

If we get the club going you know your more than welcome to come and join us. That goes for everyone. I'll post some times and spots that our meetings will take place.

If you want to stop by on your way up pm me again I think I could squeeze a few hours in before work. :D

I think it would be pretty hard to find someone who would be opposed to it...
