bud, upper pic...what's the right hand doing??Looks like it's stuck in the wave?Or some kind of reverse rail grab?

I see what you mean in the pic looking down on Rex Huffman.
It does kinda look like that.
Computer screens can vary so much in image quality.
Look closely at the guys face, that little protrusion isn't his tounge!
It's his thumb on the outside rail.

Here's a real Lis Fish for sale on e-bay.

Kind of a beater though.
Check the boards gallery for pics.

I see a lot of old boards getting restored through our factory.
Many end up in Randy Rarick's board auction each year.
You could have had the thing sanded , dents filled etc. and covered with an opaque colored hot coat then lightly sanded again and the same color done with finishing resin and the whole thing polished out.
The fins and 2" along the length of the stringer could have been left clear to show the "signature".
Add some pinlines and bingo!
You'd have had a very clean, refinished, board that'd fetch a lot more $.
Still amazing someone paid that much for it "as is".

Actually its not worse... in the end that board has cost me nearly $400 aussie just to get it back into riding condition. 100 for the board 70 for the shipping, 50 for pads and 150 for the ding repair (the ding repair guy had to reglass the rails the whole way around), not to mention the fact that the fins are lop sided. Looks good now though.joe wrote: Albert, don't bid on this one, it's worse than your last eBay nightmare.

Stevie just contracted me to do some maintenance on his rental properties. He has a 3-4 year waiting list for boards. He only shapes 34 a year. I get two first thing next summer when he comes to back fill his mainland orders.

I wonder who got bumped????;)
One is for my wife.....I just went from from being the Black Prince to the Prince of Theives..hehehehe
