Anybody riding a twinzer?

What works & what doesn't and in what type of conditions. Got a "secret" only you and your shaper know???? Post it here... we can keep it quiet ;-)

Wow ScottMac those forward fins on the left board ARE way forward. I'd suspect they aren't really influencing flow over the rear fins (?) How's it ride/turn? I'm gonna run upstairs and shoot a pic of my board for comparison.

John (Freeline) has moved the quads/twinsers trailing fins more into the center, similar to the Blast's fins. John has spent the past few years taking several "R&D" boat trips each and every eyar. As long as I've known John (whew....that's 36+ years!!!), he has always experiemented with design and has always been open to new ideas.

John Mel -- Keel or (Twinzer)

Post by beach_cove »

Had John make this for me a couple of months ago -- it kicks butt -- flows nicely. Use to surf these boards in the 70s and thought it would be a good board to start kneeboarding on and I was right. John Mel is the guy for timeless old school design.
