Couple of Greenough quotes.

What works & what doesn't and in what type of conditions. Got a "secret" only you and your shaper know???? Post it here... we can keep it quiet ;-)

Hey Fredo, I have one - I think it's a left. I broke the strap on the right foot one day at Blacks last year. I love those things - so soft. I had that pair since I was 16 - bought 'em at a garage sale.

Rick - I figured it was only a matter of time before someone posted a shot of you doing that. Didn't expect it would be you :P :P

I see Rick do it quite often. He does pretty good. It does turn a few heads.... I`ve done it, with duckfeet also, but I would say I was real sucessful at it.

Me and my dad were going through some old photos recently. In the early to mid-fifties, he was in a dive club in Sydney (those ozzies love their clubs). They were dedicated - they made their own aqua-lungs and wetsuits. The "wetsuits" were basically rubber sheeting cut to a pattern and loosely stitched-up with line, with a wool sweater underneath.

There were photos of him standing on rocks in his gear with a big wooden speargun, and then shots in the water. One water shot caught my eye, because I noticed the outline of the fins he was wearing. They were triangular, cut at a tell-tale angle.

They were churchills.  I had no idea they had been around so long.

Bill E - thanks for that link. Everything else "Vintage" sells for bug bucks, why not Churchills?

Do they always go that high? That's nuts.

That means that spare I have in my fin box is worth 80 bucks

Randy, I have a single also, a large. Guess we could each send them to Fredo and he could have a pair. That is, if he has 2 left feet. Actually they do fit ok on the opposite foot if you turn them over.Hmmm. :?:
