I´ve been riding a lis fish since the beginning, need atleast 2 boards for my trip to Puerto Escondido. lots of new designs, diferent types of fins , fin placement, whatever , i need boards that´ll feel similar to my lis fish. .I live in San Diego btw. I´ll be in PUerto for a while leaving within 3 or 4 weeks, any kneelos gona be down that way? contact me via the forum and we´ll get to gether
Theres a bro down there named Tom (I think, its been 20 years, since I last seen him) He's the guy who says welcome to Puerto Escondido in Simon's movie, he's a kneelo. He used to live in H.B., if I remember right. The only advice I would give is bring a board that paddles well. When there is 20 foot, top to bottom wave coming at you, ya don't want to get caught inside or not be able to paddle into one. Good luck, I hope you score. Bring more than one board for sure.
P.S. The camera people on the beach will sell you photo's of your self, tell em your name and where your staying.
Take at least three boards. Blast's quad pintails and hybrid-fishes are the best. Get them thick even on the small days you need paddling speed. This place can kick one's ass silly, even when it small. If you can get your hands on a big board its going to work great on the big days. Extra floatation for the paddling and those couple of inches of extra rail line lets you hang on for your dear life on the deathwish sets. Puerto Escondido is the best place on earth!!!!!!
Anyone out here know who Matt Willis is? If so please give me more info, he's a shaper out of Ventura county and I need to get a hold of him, thanking everyone who responds in advance.
