See Tony,

First time at first rock..see what the 'right' equipment can do..and the Point in a southerly swell IS another world class Northern Beaches venue.

Beeline, your looking at a fillercoat (hotcoat)..which is presanded. So you are seeing the resin dam into which the FCS is positioned.

They are sunk with specially formulated(reinforced) resin..gotta use it rather than straight out resin..even tho most guys don't.

But 'On a Mission' due to be released any day now..and I am SO SERIOUSLY thinking about using it. I know guys that have never liked anything other than glassed-on fins that are raving about it.

Each fin has various (incremental) adjustment..even with Merrick's templates.. just like FCS.

And the Red..we'll talk about YOUR post at another time.

I went to US Customs in Orlando today and picked up two new Flashpoints for Dan E. and I .
Wow, Bruce shaped us some sweet newies! I've been going over both boards with a strait edge and just running my hands down the rails checking them out.
We've got a little wind chop swell right now, so tomorrow my board is getting wet!

Dan and I met at the beach and surfed our new Flashpoints today. Dan's been riding a Dean Cleary quad all winter, and I kept telling him that he was in for a big suprise with his new tri fin. Wow, the suprise was on both of us! His surfing level jumped up a few rungs on the ladder, and that was after his first wave. He was fired up big time!
Speaking of waves, the swell today was only waist high, workable, clean green shorebreak, with a south angle. Hey it's summer in Florida, and we're stoked to get ANYTHING before the tropics start to heat up.
Mr. Bruce Hart,
You are the MAN. All my previous doubts about you making the tail of my board too wide have been laid to rest. This is one sweet stick. There aren't enough O's in "smooth" to describe how it felt on the first drop, or the second. I can't wait for the first Hurricane swell!
All can say is believe what you read here about Flashpoints, and "Order Up".
