i think it's awesome we have someone like you who steps up to the plate and lets people know when they've crossed that fine line of forum etiquette.
Glad you finally have realized that I alone determine all that is good and right in the world and on this forum. Can I be moderator now? I'm a regular Clarence Thomas. Except I wont leave pubes on your Coke can.
We dont hate them but if there were say a "gathering" in their area and they knew about it dont you think it would be nice if they showed up just for a few minutes to say wassup or whatever.
for example the HB/NB gathering, one of the top 3 local kneelo shapers did show. but what of the other 2? I understand the one that has to drive up from san diego that is a good distance away but what of the other that is just down the street? Im just looking for some mutual admiration and respect not for me personally but for the local kneelo community as a whole. This should apply to anyone that is a business person. cater to those to whom you wish to buy your product

I could see someone feeling awkward about going to a gathering. After all, its an informal get together put together over the internet, with a lot of people who aren't likely to know one another.
I would have no problem with going to one, but I can see how someone might be turned off to the idea.
If Surfermag.com had a shortboard gathering, would you expect Al Merrick to show up?
Honestly, I wouldn't take offense to it. Dean Cleary did show--and took video to boot. That's pretty good in my book.
This site is not pro Romo. I saw 4 of his boards including mine at the gathering. Ron's boards use to be the standard around HB / New Port..But then I even left with a new blast.
To do what I want to do
I have to do what have to do
lol who said i was talking about romo? could have been talking about? uh? wave tools lol

re: "I figured the liberals and conservatives were of the same ilk in Australia."
HaHa! Same as each other some have suggested...
Naah, what I meant was the conservatives here are called the Liberal Party. Similar to your Republicans (John Howard has referred to George Bush as his 'soulmate').
Our equivalent of your Democrats would be the ALP (Australian Labor Party: Spelt that way despite the usual 'o. u. r.' spelling of that word here when referring to, for example, "hard labour").
Then of course there are the Australian Democrats...(but i can see that your eyes are getting heavy already...).
