jim

liquid foam

You stir equal parts of A & B for 20 secs and pour like pancake batter into the rail canal.
Within 60 secs it's catalyzed and growing.
It expands for a couple of minutes.
After 20 min., it's cool and hard and you can pour again.

He used 8-lb like above, denser and tougher than surfboard foam (2 lb?). It's $25 for the set. The Bud was extra.

Since it's about 5 days between posts for Carl, here's something to practice in the meantime. Start about 15 ft away from the screen and walk slowly toward it.
Watch the expressions.

As always, go to the thread for all pics and details.
A week or two from the water, he says.

The end but not really. The orange is temporary. He knows he's going to be doing more grinding.

Really nice work and Carl documented it well on Swaylock's. He got a lot of compliments.

He's going to test it out at a secluded spot. Mike S, if you see this orange flash, you'll know who it is.

Malaga really likes the orange board. He thinks I made it (should I?...) He'd like to buy a spoon by June, will pick up shipping, and wonders if I have a good used one lying around... Carl, do you want a customer? Want three? This is the third this week. Someone could be making some money and making a lot of guys happy at the same time. Here's where mine's at, last one I'll be making for a year.

Just as long as it floats. Ever hear G2's story about his spoon that didn't? One day at Rincon Indicator it went down and stayed down. He had to rip off the leash or drown. He never found the board... It's going to come up some day at Huntington, and you'll be there 8)
