6'6"

skasand
yes the 6'6" has the same style fin set up
I will have to measure it again then give you a call with the fin placement.
i would also reccomend pulling the tail width in from what you prefer on your shorter boards.

met Fred today at bolsa and he had a brand new Schoelkopf quad. it was mighty light and pretty nice. If i wasnt addicted to Flashpoint i might have gone that route (Schoelkopf) on my next board

I am with you Kava, Eric is arguably the best shaper (and least known nationally) in the States while Bruce is arguably the best in the World.

yeah almost lifted my arm off the ground as it started to float away heh heh. ok maybe not that light but pretty close i was afraid i was gonna break it if i held it too tight! thing weighs about 1/10th what my dean cleary weighs. I'm pretty sure fred said it was 2.5" thick with 2-6oz's. check it out at the gathering next week

Freds board is actually 3" thick
but the rails feel the same as they would on a 2.5" board
and the glass is most likely a 6/4 deck with a 6 bottom.

Paul - I have a new one coming any day. Would love to give a Flashpoint a go to see what all the fuss is about. I'll let you know when I get it and we can hook up for a surf.
