fin placement for 6'

Post by dannyh »

ok dudes lets say you have a 6ft x 24 x 2/3/4.

now you want it to be loose but not stupid .
& you want a quad .

for the outer fins would 16 1/2" from tail 2"in with front of fin being about 1 1/2" of the stringer do .
if so where would you put the inside fins .

the board is a single into dobble concave.
koooolo dudes hope to post pix soon .

Probably the best bet is to put the fins on the bottom.........lol

My 6'0" x 22 3/4" Freeline quad:

forward fins: front of Futures box at 22 1/2"

rear fins: front of Futures box at 17 1/2"

Then I dropped in a long center box so I can experiment with placement/templates.
