Sounds incredible, but what's it like when you come in and take the wetsuit off? Would this "undergarment" be like a wet towel :?

Not like a wet towel at all. They shed water pretty good. I use a polartec longsleeve top and shorts under my 4/3. They're comfortable and add insulation without reducing mobility. Made by Mysterioso, (mysterioso.com). The tops are also available from O'neill

Sounds good. I use an O'neill rash guard now, I'll have to check out the tag to see if it's polartec! Hey Scott, our mutal friend, Andy actually started asking serious questions about kneeboarding the other week. I've been riding my fish more than the longboard, I think maybe we're making an impression on the stand-ups 8) LOL

Back to Pads,

I just put on my NiuHi pads from Ed that I got in the mail today. :D Thanks Ed.,

These things are buff! and nice clean beveled edges.

Now I'm just second guessing on the placement of them. After scraping the wax, I just centered the pads on the compressions my knees have already put in the board. Threw the board on an ottom, jump on and popped a wheelie. Oh well. At least I can take late drops now and not have to worry about slamming my knees. I betcha you all second guess the placement after you a put a new set of pads on a new board :) :P

I'm digging this whole kneeboard scene, board delivered to door, UDT's delivered to door, now pads, guess I'm going to have to order a new leash. Thanks god I'm married.

I posted some pics of some different "Squid" grip pads in the photo gallery under 'products'... couple of different thicknesses depending on what you like...

I got a Niuhi pad too. It is pretty thick, with a nice beveled edge, grips very well, and doesnt retain much water even compared to the thinner pad I have on my other board. Mahalo Ed.
