I was on another site and came across this idea. This looks like it could be a cool setup in a fins back quad to loosen it up a bit but still keep all of the riding properties that that type of board is good for. Looks intresting for sure.
Or on a fins back tri, which typically seem to go in a line great but dont turn, but with this?......

hmmm wonder how they perform on a "fins forward" type of setup?

I think it would be looseness overload, especially in bigger surf.
