Yeah, My Husband John bought an Island Kneeboard and he just loves it. He thoroughly recommends it. He found that it has good straight line speed and does good powerful turns and snaps, with good drive off the bottom. Neil will need to know a bit about the type surf you will be ripping in. I cant help you chief cause i dont ride thembut from the ones ive seen up this way {Sydney} in the "SURFTRADER" shop they look a nice board

Anyone in Vic who maybe thinking of buying a new KB I can highly recommended Neil Lukes (Island) boards. I recently brought one from him and I cannot believe how well it goes and handles. Now offence to the other shapers on the site. He also has a couple DVDs/Videos on KB.
