Tail Shape ?

What works & what doesn't and in what type of conditions. Got a "secret" only you and your shaper know???? Post it here... we can keep it quiet ;-)

Keep some area in the tail of your board. It is easier to land a difficult take-off if you have some area under your feet when you hit the bottom following a big drop. A pinny tail is fine for steep high lines but will do you over most times if that is what you are relying on to help you set your rail into that section bending away down the reef. (Sure if your skill levels are high then go the narrow tail).

Your right Loonylen there is bat tails with three tips also, usually with a quad set-up.

Nice stick, EQ. At one time I worked a bit as a ski tech and was able to demo a pair of 205 cm split tail skiis by Hexcel. Fast suckers.
