it is done!

Post by sf_firestarter »

Well the board is done and here is what is looks like. It was a great learning experience. I would do many things differently next time but all in all the process is not that bad, not simple or easy but something I will do again. However, I think I'm building a room before I start the next one.

And thanks to all who chimed in, offered help, and especially Kage for letting me borrow the VHS tapes. Is there another kneelo is want of the tapes now?

First of all, What is a 'VHS' tape :?:

And when you say a 'room' not rubber right.

Your board looks great! I wish had built a glassing room when I made my board.

Now go get some shots of you in the tube with it...

Akio, not so much, I actually do utlity regulation for a living. I started the project in a friends shop (shown) and finished it in my garage. However, I'm a hands on kind of guy. I work on my own cars, paint my own art for the house and do my own remodeling etc...so I guess I have some of the required skills and genetics.

And the board looks better in the photos!

VHS! Height of technology! Almost as fast as my Compaq 286. Wait, do I even have my VHS player anymore? Does anyone know how to transcribe VHS to DVD?

Kage, I've been asking around that very question. You can buy a VHS to DVD converter. Problem is finding a friend that has one.
