Feel the rhythm with your hands
(Steal the rhythm while you can)
Spoonman

Speak the rhythm on your own

Spoonman, come together with your hands
Save me, on together with your plans
Save me

Save me
Save me, yeah
Save
With your

Come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on
Come on, come on, come on

With your
WITH YOUR HANDS

AND ALL MY FRIENDS ARE SKELETONS!

What an absolute stud.
What I love about this guy more than his innovation and independence:
His work ethic!

I don't think comments like "For me, it's not about what Greenough did, it's about what I want to do," are dismissive or disrespectful in anyway... in fact, the opposite.

The spirit of Greenough and Lis and PC and CC and Novo and Sparrow (ect, ect) was to take the hard road... the difficult path... to achieve things no one else had.

Awesome.

Thanks Kneemo.
Ask him if he'll ever do a "Demo day"... I'll be the first one on the beach.

Spooning leads to Forking. :P

Scott, here I am. I just saw this. Looks like he's got the stoke, the tools and the respect to get something going. ESPN paid attention.

Will Perez should feel better. On one of his first waves with his epoxy spoon (years ago), he had the same buckling experience as McCallum. I did once too but to a lesser extent. You learn fast that the rim around the front half of the board has to be hardened. The flex is from there back incrementally.

He said he's not limited by Greenough but I like the way he's done it. He started with the basic single-fin velo and worked his way out from there. It's smart to start with what works and save the creativity for later.

What I'd really like to see is some footage of him or anyone else ripping in quality waves like Indo. That's what's missing.

Fair comment Cappy, but I still think what you said about every custom board being a limited edition stands.

Hey Krusty,

does that include the newfangled Chinese computer popouts, too?

I'd give that twin or quad a go, but do you have to grab the rails in order to get the board to flex on the bottom turns?
