Absolutely right. Sometimes heavier is good - like guns or boards in unruly conditions.analbirth wrote:You can go too light the same as you can go too heavy, if a board feels right then it probably is.
Thinner also has a limit - rails need to be a certain size (but it's smaller than most production kneeboards around these days).

the handle needs to go front to back, not across... much better for weight transfers and it'll loosen up more on cutbacks that way. I've also worked on a single attach point in the center with a knot tied on the loose end. That's knot as as effective for rail to rail moves in the barrel, but I don't lose the board as much on my vertical 360's.CONTIKI wrote:Been experimenting with this shape...

It's knot woking out too well. Any sugestions???
