Hey guys
I'm quite clueless on this so please share your opinions
I just got this epoxy board: 5'10" x 22 & 1/2" x 2 & 1/2" swallow tail tri fin (FCS)
It's got a very thin, narrow, pointy nose ( 14" )... basically looks like a stand up short board fish (to me).
It doesn't have a lot of nose rocker but it's not a flat board. I ride it with MR-TX (Mark Richards) fins including the stabilizer.
I've only surfed it in weak 1 foot slop.
Any ideas on how the board might perform in bigger/ steeper waves? (Disregarding my surfing ability, of course.)
... Steep take offs? driving bottom turns? going vertical? off the lips? floaters? cut backs?

the 14" nose you are surfing is not out-of-the-question for a kneeboard that's 22 1/2" wide..but you must be kneeling around 40" back (or more) from the nose not to over-power the straighter planshape lines your nose is creating
this is even more important if you have a flatter rocker thru the front 1/3 of yr board that u suggest you have
given the above, you must consider surfing this board off its tail..and this is particularly so should you surf with MR TX rail fins which have a heap of area
hope it makes sense 4u mate
