Post by kneemor »

Are there any surf shops in Southern California that sell Parkes Kneeboards or Neil Luke Island Boards?

No shops will stock these boards... it's basically charity work for them as the margins are small and the number of boards sold in a year would be small at best.

The kneeboard market is primarily a custom market now as most of us have been doing this for years and have our own shape preferences. Additionally, most guys I know have more than one board 8) for riding in various conditions. See the example below... Each of these are for a different type of wave and all built for my size and weight.

If you are interested in a shape from Luke or Parkes, there are ways to get them here but again, it's a custom thing and shipping charges are the achilles heal in the deal. You get what you pay for....

Mark Robertson may have a Neil Luke board for sale... check w/ him.
