playa hermosa, costa rica

im going to playa hermosa for a couple weeks and plan on doing some exploring. any info would be helpful

The wave can get like Puerto Escondito in Mexico. I liked the Backyard hotel and the waves around it. Punta Escondita/ Los Suenos a few miles N has great waves but you would need a boat/guide. Jaco is in between w smaller waves and a tourist spot w nightlife. Quepos and Manuel Antonio doesn't have much wave , but worth the drive to see animals in the National park. Have fun !!
