Hart Attack!
Some of you may have seen pics Bruce posted while he was shaping my new glass paipo.
I have been trying to get someone to shape what described as a glass body board on steroids.
The great news is that it is finished - is beautiful - and more importantly absolutely smacks in the water!
Tried to post pics but they are too big but if you want to see the fruits of a great job you can have a look on FB.
Marc Manion - pictures - album Hart Attack
btw - thanks BH - lets see if Impossibles is possible

He did a great job - thought I was mad wanting to make a glass lid until he realized he could make a tri-use board - kneelo -when I learn how to drive it, lid - which is so fast it stalls - and a piapo if you take the fins off!analbirth wrote:hey marcus, looks like Bruce did a great job on it. I'd kneel on it, the thing looks unreal
It is fun, will certainly get some drop knee action and who knows there may be another grumpy old kbr at Manly!

Damo - if you go along that windy road past Bennetts, up the hill, round a few corners, past a few coffee shops you come to Queensie - board will be there and WAVES!!! haha

Hi Marcus,
Do you have any photos on somewhere else other than Facebook?
What's the name of the thread you referred to about the shaping of the board?
Thanks.
I had a local shaper make me a PU prone board which you can check out here....
Scroll down until you get to "Custom creation, The turtle".

Recently had a leash plug installed at the tail so it can be ridden stand up as well as prone.

Had a look at More and Mark Pridmore is vaguely familiar - both the Turtle and the Firefly look pretty fine! The firefly is sort of like the first two I had from Mark rabbidge - one had leg plug the other wrist. PM'd you the account where you can see a swag of pics in higher resolution
