just booked a 12 day boat trip to the Maldives.Just wondering if anyone has ben there? not going till april next year still undecided on board size.Any advice welcome :D

In 2003 was in the Maldives for the month of April! Surf wise got everything from 2 to 6 feet, reefs a shallow booties a must and you may want to consider investing in a Gath. Board wise I agree take your everyday ride a long with a bigger board. Stayed at the Lohifushi Resort for a week then did the Outer Atoll boat trip(the highlight or the trip) surfed with the other people on the baot plus a guide and 1 crewman total of 6 to 7 guys in the line ups. Worth the $$$!
