Hello

Getting a quad made soon and have been surfing FCS fg7 on the thruster and GR and GX mix on the quad. Looked up FCS website and wow! The world has changed in fins since I last looked.

I am getting the quad for speed but still aim at landing as many reos as I can. What is the current FCS choice for 3 ft to say 7ft waves quad set ups. Large fins.

Any comments appreciated

Cheers!

I've been using these for a while...work really well on my quads.
It means you have a redundant thruster fin....but worth it.

I love the HI-1s on my small wave Tri.

Big. Ultra lite. Power flew when the waves have juice.

Agree with wanderer indofins are really good value for money, they don't look as pretty as some of the western manufactured fins.
This is their quad page

Also find them on eBay.

Good heads up on the Indo Fins. Thanks.

Mark, I've been looking at Matt Biolas' FCS set. I have a new quaddy coming this week. We can compare notes at the comp.

Hey there,
I have found FCS GAM and GX trailers work really well. Plenty of drive and controlled turns long and short. I'm on a 5'11" Kneeon rounded pin,

I have had great results using vector quads. But noticed that all of the commercially made rear fins were set to the back of the slot. Glenn at Rainbow fins will custom make any fin set for any application. I had him make me a couple of vector quad sets in blue fiberglass instead of the plastic, and I had the rears set all the way foreword in the slot. Nice drive, good willingness to turn and looser with the foreword fin positioning on the rears. Good luck, so many combos out there, keep trying till you find what works for you! See ya, T.

Have a look at soar fins. Based in Gosford, New South Wales. They will ship anywhere. The FT3 and FT4 are Tohlhurst templates that are made in full fibreglass with FCS tabs. Those two templates are front fins for quad set ups. They work very well and look pretty cool too. Give them a ring, they were pretty helpful when I called looking for advice.

those soar fins look very nice -- and they make tri-fin sets with a smaller centre fin, just the way i like it!
