- Drawing outline using templates
- Outline cut out, double wing diamond tail
- 5'1/2" x 21 3/8" (I'm 5'4", so it's not really a tiny board)

- Shaping the concaves. Bottom contours: slight vee in front, single to double concave through the middle, slight vee blended with double concave in fin area

The pictures look great. Have you made kneeboards before? Do you make kneeboards for other people? I can't wait to see it with a deck pad and hear how it surfs.

The fin placement looks great. I would think fin boxes would be easier. To me the glass on fins show that you really think about the way water will flow around the board.
Stay sane and keep shaping.

Very cool Josh. I'd never attempt what you're doing so it's fun to see the progress. Wondering why you didn't use a removable fin system because fins can make a difference in performance depending on conditions. Thx!

Interesting you used red foam for your board. It's light, but it is also very susceptible to pressure. Have you tried blue foam? It's a bit heavier, though not much, but holds up much better to stress.
Great job. Your board looks fantastic.
