Future Quad set

Post by ClanB2018 »

Those that use Future Fins what quad set do you recommend for DC Quest 5’10”x23.5”? I surf point an beach breaks. I looked at Controller Alpha and Seaworthy Quads. Any opinion is appreciated.

I like the seaworthy much better. They have a much better flex and release. At a point break I would think about an AM2 with 4,00 rears. I think it has a lot to do with the placement of the fin boxes on the board.

I am on my second big order from Hanelei Fins
This Australian guy has a specific Kneeboard line of different fin designs models-- quads as well as thrusters
I love the cant he puts on some of his fins it really makes a difference on my boards
Mayer is also a kneeboard shaper and as an Australian that expatriated to Hawaii he is on top of things in this specific market
it's all about the ride
