for those interested in time travel..old board thread
as suggested: a thread devoted to lovers of kneelo equipment from another time and place.
a recent acquisition; I moved the fin forward after finding that I couldn't turn the thing.
now I'm noticing fin 'hum'. Quite loud, almost embarassing..
I recall, I think, that hart attributed this to the foil of the fin (& placement?)
do I try grinding it thinner ? (its quite thick)
fingers crossed on attactment:

Hi Xmas,
I look forward to seeing it.
Did I read somewhere that you Sydney guys have a 'single fin'
comp every year?
I only break out the old boards occasionally; not on prime days....
and the best ones just get looked at.
Unfortunately the fish hasn't lived up to expectations, so far.
Still, you never know, the next one I try could be a revelation!

HW, you mean symetrical each side of the fin (meaning along the fore/aft centreline) ?
I was wondering whether fat leading edge to thin trailing edge was setting up some weird cavitation and humming. So, re-foil to a thinner leading edge?
mmmflextail....
hey scoop, can't see anything, do you want to email the pics to me
& I'll try (I have mine hosted on photobucket.com then use the 'Img'
option that comes up after you have set up your album)
have pm'd you
