Our friend Morgan Mellish died this week in the Garuda Plane Crash in Java. We surfed (I kneeboard he stands) together many times in west java. He was a great guy, and I am deeply saddened by his early departure from this world.

The biggest shock is it can happen to any of us, at any time. He was flying from Jakarta to Yogyakarta a short hop, that I have taken many times, and instantly a great guy is gone.

Enjoy life while you can, do the things you value in life, keep good friends, family, and plenty of barrels.

Morgan we will all miss you.

Sorry for your loss, a few of us kneelo's have flown Garuda. I was aware of the crash.
