Pilgrimage

Post by martin »

Beep Beep and Groan
Juice toast and cereal
Diesel and Radio
The hour immaterial

Road after road
Dark and deserted
Hours slip away
Routine is subverted

Goal! a beach
Too early to pay
A lack of wind
Precedes the day

After an age
Neoprene bound
Into the blue
A flippery sound

Headache at dive
Remember to breathe
There's nobody out
it's like Christmas eve!

Cross the line
Sit up and chill
Pant, look around
Line up on the hill

Here it comes
The first of the day
PADDLE MAN PADDLE
Because life's gone away.
In the beginning there was nothing......
........................................................
which exploded.

Martin

may I inquire were the signature statement of "in the beginning... "comes from?

Its one of the smartest things I've ever read

If it is your construction...please except my deepest bow!

good waves to you

Hey dorje,

The signature I use is copied directly from an author called Terry Pratchett, how I wish I could think like that!

He's an english writer who uses (and abuses!) science fiction and comedy to make not only really funny but very deep and insightful comments on the world around him.
It's not everyone's copy of tea - my wife thinks he's sh1te and childish!!

Take it easy
