THOUGHTS OF SURFING

I feel the mist across my face
Look east and see the beauty of a new day.
Often, the heart of heaven and earth I embrace
And gently reach out and hold the hand of God.

Written for me as a sophmore in 1973, soon after I got to know her daughters. She died a few years later but this cool poem lives on!
