With the averge age of the kneeboarder these days this area should be used to post issues on health matters (surfer's ear, knee surgery, stretches, etc).
hey All...
After kneeboarding for years I have developed these lumps on the top of my feet (from contact/bumping board)... just wondering if anyone has grown something similar??..
yeah i got em to.
on my third largest toe left foot iv'e got one that opens up when i surf alot.(i dont like booties)i call it my surfometre as it only craters out during high surfing activity .
i used to get em when i was using "duck feet" even when i used booties. but since i switched to vipers happily i dont get them any more thank goodness! they would open up all te time and they may be small but hurt like a momo! heh! heh!
I have big ones on my feet. I now put pads on the tail of all my boards. Better grip, no foot pain and foot bumps are shrinking. My kneebumps have almost gone after 25 years of using kneepads.
Epoxy in some 3/2 wetsuit swatches into the inside tops of your fins (I did this on my Churchills), and it helps with the discomfort at the contact points. Just buy a $2 tube of goop from your local surf shop, and ask for a couple of freebie neoprene swatches from them.
