Board Bumps

With the averge age of the kneeboarder these days this area should be used to post issues on health matters (surfer's ear, knee surgery, stretches, etc).

Board Bumps

Post by weirdo »

hey All...
After kneeboarding for years I have developed these lumps on the top of my feet (from contact/bumping board)... just wondering if anyone has grown something similar??..

Cheers

Troy and Chayne have huge ones.
Simon had them pretty bad at one time too.

Luckily I have never had them

I have big ones on my feet. I now put pads on the tail of all my boards. Better grip, no foot pain and foot bumps are shrinking. My kneebumps have almost gone after 25 years of using kneepads.

HEY !

How about a new photo gallery catagory........Kneeboard Surfer Feet.

8) :D

Don........are you paying attention?

I've got a good shot of my friend Ray Ebaugh's crusty old dogs to "kick" it off.

Just don't view them before dinner though......

Epoxy in some 3/2 wetsuit swatches into the inside tops of your fins (I did this on my Churchills), and it helps with the discomfort at the contact points. Just buy a $2 tube of goop from your local surf shop, and ask for a couple of freebie neoprene swatches from them.

Viper fins are now doing this too, apparently.
