injured

With the averge age of the kneeboarder these days this area should be used to post issues on health matters (surfer's ear, knee surgery, stretches, etc).

injured

Post by gene west »

ob/cliff's soulshiner Trout lacerated his head and put a tooth through his lip while perfecting riding his rail on his forhead in the tube @ Oceanside the other day, stylin' on his new quadfish-looks like he and anti-hero R.W. will have twin scars-no report on damage to his board!!! Props to TOO FAST ZEKE for coming to the aide of our friend!!!

Glad to hear our friend Tim is ok and recovering. :D

Hey Gene - don't you know people take offense to being called bald?

bald

Don't believe I called anyone bald Randy, and as someone with a rapidly declining folicle output, I believe I'd be aware of that.

Trowtsky, sorry to hear about the injuries. If you can, try to resist too early a return after getting your sutures out. Earlier this year I had a small skin cancer removed on my chest, 8 stitches. Anyway, when I got the stitches out I figured I must be "good to go" and went surfing 2 days later. Blew the incision right back open. THAT took longer to heal than the original, hurt more too, and it looks REAL pretty.

count your blessings

Surfing Shipwrecks in Coronado yesterday expecting a 2-3 swell when I got pounded by head high plus heaving waves and got held under by 3 waves.

Count your blessings! I thought I was done.

Trowtim,
I perfected the rail to the face maneuver years ago - are you trying to zone in on my moves? At this point I have concluded that it cannot be done without loss of blood.
Hope the girls haven't lost all interest....
