Thanx for the heads up, Flexman! Sounds like a surf trip to SoCal this fall is in order........if for nothing else but checking out the Greenough exhibit.
I tried one of his pvc surf mats (it had handles and fins) the winter of 1985 or so on the north side of the Huntington Beach pier. It was a macker 8'-10'+ winter swell and the friend who handed me the mat to ride was on-shore laughing his head off. I was able to get a lot of speed off the bottom and down the line a bit before the wall dumped. I'm surprised that the thing didn't blow out a baffle.

I watch Cilldren of the Sun at least once a week on DVD, click G.G. into slow mo and watch his moves. I learn somthing every time. I belive the red spoon in the movie is a Vello, the narrator called it a Vello for what it's worth.
How can I aquier a copie of the (Sparrow has landed) I can't seem to find it?
Forever a Grom!

Hey Ska, when I was at the Longboard Grotto in Encinitas last month, they had 3 or 4 copies of Innermost on VHS as well as Children of the Sun on DVD.

My friend is the 'Huh what?' guy in that Aqua short. I asked him about those waves, he said that it was filmed at a 'certified' surf spot. Classic guys there, I'm certain they're working on more minifilms, as driven as they are by their creativity.

I'm in the mood for ska.............
Some of the most fun I've had as a pro musician is playing Two Tone.
But its too much work taping off a checker board on a KB.
