World Titles: Looking Back At 2004, Looking Ahead...

I got ahold of lots of footage from the 2004 Tahiti Titles, courtesy of Peter Pearce, particularly from the Opening Ceremonies and some action from the early heats. Lots of local color!
We're looking forward to all the pageantry in a few weeks in Santa Cruz!

As an afterthought, if any of you (maybe a participant in 2004) would like a free hi-resolution MPEG file of this video short (it looks soooo much better!), and you can endure the time it takes to download the 73 meg whopper, it will be available for you from now through December 30th at:
