<<<what he saidhe paid for not pulling in watch how he gets sucked over the falls because he didn't penetrate low enough through the wave.
If he grabbed the rail and really pulled on it would he been able to tightened up the bottom turn? pull higher onto the face gain speed and make the section. It must suck to have everyone watch you eat it over and over agian and critique
except for the wedge on a big southi guess just about everywhere is softer than the North Shore
sweet waves and footage

My first impression was fuc!!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect commitment from the take off on a mother of a wave.
Saying this was his 1st wave that was
What happens after is mother ocean showing its pure beauty & power.
I thought it was cool seeing the struggle with the drawn out bottom turn. To me it looked like he was trying to squeak back up the face in time to get shacked but things changed in a matter of a second
Well done Chris
Some of the best memories can be from the waves you don't make. I would love to have that adrenaline going through my body whilst taking off on this wave.
All we have had is 2ft mush for weeks

Sparrow, you are spot on with your response. Too bad that the footage is from more that a year ago.Sparrow wrote:My first impression was fuc!!!!!!!!!!!

So far this has been a terrible winter in San Diego with weeks of 2ft mush to deal with as well.
At least we are finally getting some powder in the mountains.
