George Blair Video: "May Gray"

Post by Scott »

If you haven't seen this, it is well worth it for a glimpse of current California kneeboarding style: George Blair's entertaining short "May Gray", shot in May 2006. Excellent surfing by Backer, Bearesford, Blair, Buscemi, and Hayward & Lerner (who, for some odd reason, refuse to have their last names end in "B").

Congrats, George, for some good shooting and editing!

Jimbo - that Chile footage has already been posted here.

GEORGE! Beautifully edited footage of some gray Oceanside harbor (I'm pretty sure that's where it was filmed). I remember you showed some raw footage earlier, love what you did with the edited version and the picture in picture fades. Great choice of music too.
Well done!

loved the "grey" feel

evocative, as the best surfs around here usually happen on grey days

Awsome footage. Great surfing too!! Was this filmed at Oceanside? I think this was actually filmed at another well known place. Maybe it is a fluke that it also happens to start with a B... haha very nice either way. :D

Shaun,

You're off by about 20 miles.

Darcy was right - although not technically speaking.

Anyone know how I can get a copy of "Mundo Nibor"?

It was for sale at the World Contest but I did not know it. I just saw a friend's copy. It is pretty good.

Any help would be appreciated.
