I was having friday arvo beers at a friends place today and he showed me this footage of his brother at gnarloo in west oz.
Al Boffey is the guy, showing that at 53 years young you can still charge the big ones.

yep Ross,
If it was me I would have messed up me boardies, especially when he lands and the board jags a little as the fins bite.
I thinks thats why i like riding a gun when its big so i dont deal with the air drop as much as i did years ago when i rode a 5'10 in everything.( I'm about 6'4" so 5'10" is like 6 inches shorter than me).
Anyone out there riding a modern style of kneelo that is 6 inches shorter than their height?

Love that coast, some absolutely beautiful scenery, sealife, people and waves...however there are moves afoot anyone interested in some rather "interesting " plans for Red Bluff please google West Australian Planning Commission Red Bluff... have a read and if you feel strongly enough leave an online comment. I realise this wave is up the road from the Bluff but it's not so far away that it mightn't be affected by plans, to the tourists they hope to attract. Would be interested to read what you all think...we only have a very small number of coastal locations not dotted by hotels, shacks and shops.
getting there is often as good as getting there
