Hi Farbz,
Ive changed no settings to edit. Its just raw footage straight from the camera with a simple opening transition & titling via my Mac
The camera is set to PAL, at 50htz not 60.
I only got a couple of shots in then the housing fogged up

Pub ... what pub? I can't see no pub. Geez, I reckon you Wollongonians can smell a beer a moile off.

   We're pretty good on the scent of alcohol us WAKA's, McKnee, but this was my home break for twenty odd years (used to look at it out the loungeroom window) and when it started to get dark in summer you could here the bands playing at the OB Hotel and often see the drunks rolling out the door before you came in to dry off and join them. Have a closer look, can you tell me what breed of dog that is tied up behind the pub ?
Seeing Simon making this his home break over the last couple of years has got me thinking about ignoring my own ban on the place (since the gut sliders took over), although Simon does get to surf it at the best time possible, during the week on his days off.....usually week days I imagine....the weekends used to be horrific with crowds.

Cheers Wolruss

Hi Russell,
Mate its been 7 1/2 yrs of calling cowries my home :o
Trust me on this, no lids out there now except 3 chargers & nice blokes also. Times have changed thats for sure but the crowds come & go on the weekends only! & even then they leave as quick as a fart in a fan shop when the first sign of anything over 4ft arrives. Its an amazing wave isnt Russell.
Its cool I get to play all week & leave the weekends to the others unless its got some juice.
Mystics is where all the lids are

Excellent stuff Mr F.

Can I ask, are you using the suction cup there or have you gone with an FCS plug? If it's the cup, what kinda size do you think it can handle before you lose a load of money's worth of camera?

:o

Cheers
