8) Go Copa.
The guy talking at the start of the clip is Bali Strickland ( red hot Copa local). He won a contest about 10 years ago called "burliegh to bells". Contestants were to film their trip following the QS contests for that season in Australia. Bali won and was consequently offered an apprenticship with non other than Jack McCoy. After a few years on the road as a full time camera man for Billabong working under McCoy, Bali has gone out to do his own thing and I'm pretty sure he is under contract with BBC 8) .

His dad sands all the floors in the houses I build and I always roll my eyes when I ask him how Bali is going, cause he always says something like
" oh he's ok, he's up the north west filming Parko and Andy right now. Then he's going to Jbay. But I don't think he really earns good money doing it."

Yeah Bali get a "real ( soul destroying ) job" :lol:

Good god, my pissie little town churns out some achievers :lol:

Don't know how I got hooked up with the "BEST SURFING FOOTAGE EVER" but all these slideshows are mine. Definitely not the "best of" Texas surfing, just my gallery when I get shots. Headed back soon to the island in the last slideshow to work.

I,m originally from Fort Worth TX. My first dip in the Ocean was in Galveston. Nice work on the slide shows... My buds all enjoyed them
