where is all the rest of the NZ worlds footage?

so many people were filming throughout the entire event, there have to be hours of action stashed away in so many people's hands... but with so few youtube vids to show for it

Spot on Alberto. Was looking last night and thought the same

I've just set myself up on you tube and have started to put together some clips. Not sure of the quality yet as most of it was taken on a still digital using movie mode.
Also sent most of my footage to Feralmick and I know he's going to have a play.

Looking forward to Simons DVD when it comes out also

Thanks Mike.
Somehow i missed that posting, Well done, some great shots there and I like the way you put them together. Wide angle format seems to cause loss of perspective for wave size.

Thanks Howard.
Yes the 15mm lens on the video camera mounted low does distort the size of the wave, but the speed, and length of the drops should attest to the wave size. Nice thing about the 15mm lens is it doesn't need focusing with that wide of an angle.
Tube video's should look unreal, all I need are some waves over here.
There was a whole crew of fellow kneelo's out that day, they were just down about a half mile from me. That reef was mine baby!
