Interesting watching the clips from the early rounds of the women's TSB Bank Surf Festival, surfed at Arawhata Road, same exact reef at which almost all the heats were run for the World Kneeboarding 2009 contest.

Enlightening to view how they interpreted that wave compared to how the kneelos attacked it a year earlier. Brings back a lot of good memories

well only some of them shred and it looked so full on the clip anyone would struggle

They surf way better than ten years ago.
Although, I saw Trudy Todd surf "the Hook" in Santa Cruz 10-15 years ago. She could shred a right point.
