That's what I call slalom kneeboarding. That dude was just projecting past every other guy out there that only wished they could catch that wave. Nice.

Yeah, we call it the El Porto Crowd Slalom.

El Porto's the most crowded place I've ever surfed, and the only place I've been dropped in on by guys who can actually catch a wave and stand up, but don't know if they should go left or right. Bad enough being snaked, and dangerous when it turns into a game of chicken.

That sandbar, nicknamed The Hole, was the best wave in the history of the South Bay. It lasted from early January until the middle of Febuary. The crowds got impossible, but realize,...... that clip is only the first half of that wave. Sick, dredging, barrels for weeks.
