We're all waiting for Thursday nite when we premier the flick here in Santa Cruz. It will be featured as part of our Thursday nite contest get together at Margaritaville Restaurant and Bar. Its right on the beach/mouth of Soquel Creek.

Even if you're not competing, everyone is encouraged to hang out each and every day and nite. Out nightly raffle for KBs (every nite, another KB!) is worth the trip alone. Margaritaville is also putting together a special menu for the group.

The more raffle tickets we sell, the bigger the pot when we host the Worlds in 2006.

Now and Then

Post by hart »

Dan

I had to stop myself putting this dvd on 4 straight nites in a row..

But then it just meant watching it 4 times in the first 5 days!!

Without a doubt the best visual trip done for kneeboarding for a decade..the surfing in it is so cool.

Got to rate Simon, but Cheyne Simpson really surfs beyond his years as does his brother Troy.

And the archival stuff of Nov and PC is unreal.

Now just throw Steen and Albert et all into the bunch..and what a cocktail..

Thanks again to Simon and Rebecca

PS

Oh..and make sure the volume is LOUD

Thanks Bruce

Simon's surfing as usual, is increadible, Chayne and Troy's sections are outrageous, and its funny, both there surfing has gone to another level again since the footage was taken. You should see some of their home footage Faaarkn Mad.

PC section is alltime......coolest old ad
Nov...enough said..legend
Deano......true phillip Island surfin
Kyle.....smooth as

Albert and I......only 4 surfs videod there....and a couple from each session......on the footage

But its a great selection of surfing, and I am proud to be in it. Simons selection of footage of the last how many years, is great to watch.

I am sure everyone will be hooting on Thursday night
:D

We've had an early fall/winter but things are looking up for this weekend. The weather forecasters are calling for an offshore trend with temps around 72F/43F. Water temp is at 60F.

Some swell (a North) is forecast for this week and a SW mixing in for Fri/Sat.

Wish all our Australian friends could make it over......I might have even given you a wave or two........LOL!!!!!!! Make your plans for the Worlds Sept. 2006 in Santa Cruz and we'll give you the Royal Tour of all our
KB-able surf spots!

hitchin' rides

Post by hart »

How's it Ben B..

Imagine hitching a ride 'up' that hill home..(after a surf)..?

and seeing this ad on the bloody telly (TV..US) that night with your old man over dinner?

"Dad, I had 4 foot lefts at North Curly this arvo.."

"Yes son, but Chelsea is 2 one up against Arsenal.." (as we watch the Soccer on UK TV))

Hard to argue against a Scottish father.. :)

"Yeah but Dad..how many of them can swim.........??" I asked..

as I ran like hell out of the fri#@%en kitchen

8)

Too cool..or so I thought I was..

at least I rode a kneeboard and kneeboarders were on the telly in OZ ..

but now I look out for Chelsea too..

:(

coz some things come and go way too fast.......toooo faaast....

My Father was one of them..and Peter was another

Go Arsenal!

I watch the Premiership whenever I can. England definitely has the best football on the planet.
