I just received Volume 13, Number Three of The Surfers Journal. I saw on the cover that there was a feature story written about Peter and his last days in Bali by DC Green. I was taken in by the story and the fascinating life, photograpy and kneeboarding of Peter.
He is a sample from the artice. pg 16.
It took two decades for the stand-ups to catch up with the kneeboarders' roundhouses, deep tube riding, carve 360's, barrell rolls(like the one Crawford pulled at the '76 World Titles) and sheer ability to take on the heaviest of breaks.
I double clicked somehow and ordered 2 copies so if any aussies want one for $15 aussie peso's... plus posting...contact me and will get it off to you when it arrives (only ordered today)
